Chapman is probably the 3rd best closer of all time lol. Hicks never got a fair shake as a closer just as middle relief

Jordan hicks was a good reliever. Starting hasn’t worked for him pretty sure he gets the message of take the role the organization gives you or you can be gone too. New mature tone in Boston.

He wanted to play 3B had the ego of a superstar at all star player level of performance. I love the guy but that can’t happen. Hopefully this was a good reality check bc Melvin won’t put up with it.

Jordan hicks is your long term closer option. Move Chapman for something and see what this team can do with the pitching they are getting and the rest of the offense producing.

Harrison is a year removed from being the best LHP in the minors. It’s gonna take time but he will get there. Fangraphs has that contract aging awfully in about 3 years. I love raffy but major imposter syndrome to not be flexible imo.

We will see how the contract ages but the projections aren’t great and oracle kills offense. I think we got solid pitching in Harrison. We will see as always hope for the best and go Sox.

Teel was so highly touted bc of being a catcher. The defense has fallen off every year at the professional level. Hes being considered a corner OF long term now and the bat isn’t that good. Montgomery played zero professional games prior to the trade. It’s a steal.
