But honestly, PHP is a good templating language. As long as you make it clear what a template is.

Our dog had some deal with the hens a few winters ago. They'd lay in a secret place and he'd grab them and bury them in the snow. Then eat them.

Been a while since I played with them, but there are tags you should be able to write to from a phone, and just set the data to a URL.
