It was good to see my parents, and I'm thankful to still have them when many of my friends and family have lost their's.
It was good to see my siblings and nephews and niece-in-law, too.
I didn't see my BIL because of his job, and I had to leave early because of mine.
I got left out of pictures.

This one really hurts. He missed all of '24 with an ACL injury picked up in the last preseason friendly. His recovery carried well into the '25 season.
I really hoped he would get a full year back after all that, but I understand.

How weird is it for someone to date their cousin's Widow? I don't know if I'm being too judgemental or not enough. The cousin has been gone 3 years in a fortnight. Both their families know and are fine with it as far as I can tell.

A cargo plane crashed on takeoff from Louisville International Airport at 5:15pm. Looking at the crash site, it landed in an industrial area right next to the airport. 3 crew. No way to know how many on the ground.
