While I am not a politician, I do work with students and often will soften concerns to avoid an over the top emotional response from a student or parent. I think we can all agree that the US is led by a deeply narcissistic bully, and I too would want to hedge my bets.

I don’t have a problem with the process per say but using it as a platform to “own the libs” or engaging in taunting and insults is beneath those that are supposed to be the best of us.

On day 1 of film school, I was taught that there is a difference between a movie being stylistically tight and personal preference. Criticism tends to be layered in faux outrage and snark for likes, so please feel free to enjoy whatever. I love White House Down and I don’t care what anyone thinks.
