Yeah I'm with you on this one 100%. Everyone is leery because Fetterman campaigned on being a progressive then went further right than Republicans. We can't take a chance like that again.

It's wild he was the candidate that was too progressive for them and they got a more centrist candidate to face him. Now that he has a nazi tattoo they're OK with him. How strange.

One of the things with authoritarian governments is you think that everyone but your immediate bubble is in favor of them. Right wing voices are amplified on social media, so seeing millions of people protesting this can let everyone knows that they're not alone against this administration.

I keep getting tagged and I'm waiting for a DM about a question on SNES programming on Twitter. Someone that I know who knew Lou at that time said he didn't AIM chat during that period. That's why I doubt it. Message board response, sure, e-mail, sure, AIM sorry no, not in 94/95.

Totally valid, and I will clarify with a larger character limit. It's really the timeframe that I'm questioning the earliest Thesz post on that board is 2000. But I'll own it coming off as bad faith.

It's totally cool man. I mean it's been a day. Moral of the story is never go on twitter after not sleeping the night before and question something Tony Khan said. The worst part is I'm only on Twitter right now waiting for a DM about a question I had regarding SNES programming.

I remember, I'm literally just questioning the timeframe he's saying here. It seems he more likely talked to Thesz on a message board or maybe spoke to him on AIM in 99/00. Which again is fine, that was 30 years ago.

Eh, the dude his human dates get mixed up. I'm more like shocked at the reaction of "Hey this probably didn't happen" is getting tagged every 10 minutes getting called names and stuff. TK seems like a fine person IMO.

That's cool man, so I just started wrestling in 1999/2000 and all the wrestlers were on AIM back then to discuss shows and stuff. From the people who came before me it wasn't popular in the mid-90s though.

OK can I ask here, this is 1996 which is later than the date we're looking at. At that point Thesz had bad eyesight and his wife was typing his answers. Do you think his wife sat there and read instant messages and responded on AIM for him or is it more likely it was a message board thing?
