gwog!!! they were working on a similar thing to quantum league, the timeloop shooter which has a similar story - but the devs promised an offline version when shutting the servers down. 3 years later and we haven’t heard from them EXCEPT to tell people working on something akin to this to stop. neat

i also find, while watching gameplays, that it takes me out of the experience. the flat lifeless voices don’t fit the game, which is by contrast chock full of the life and love the team put into it. i really hope human voice actors is something possible down the line.
