My first grade class was in the school vaccination program for polio in the very early 60s. We got it from buses, with the vaccine on a sugar cube. Prior to the vaccine in shot form. A lot of people had it even at that time. My HS English teacher survived with severe deformities.

The de-documentation of lawful immigrants contributed to major labor shortages during covid. But back then, immigrants' work permits lapsed because the government was so backed up in processing renewals. now they're de-documenting people on purpose
