It was a close pick between Treecko and Torchic.

It's the same. The P is more easily recognizable with the angle they gave it compared to sharing it with the S. It's more subtle but still has an impact.

I'm saving up, so when the next set comes out, I can pull hundreds of cards lol

So if the colors on the sign fade or if there is low visibility, that makes the angle they chose for the S make more sense. The S is visible regardless of color, while the S with the same angle as the P isn't as obvious at first glance.

If you add the like at the same angle as the P, it overlaps the edges of the S. This doesn't seem bad at first, but signs need to be visible and something you can instantly recognize.
