Skin Deep is pretty good. I think its probably the perfect length cause personally towards the end the game began to drag a little, though the last ship level helps a lot by being like a final exam for everything you learned. Makes me wanna finish Quadrilateral Cowboy. Fun game!

Stick figure walks in, says "Dad i'm home"
A tentacled figure with pitch black eyes responds "hi home, im [incomprehensible text]"
The stick figures eyes begin to bleed and eardrums rupture, as red marks appear all over their body. The tentacled figure chuckles lightly.
The stick figure, now weeping blood, with blood dripping from their ears and a body covered in bright red runes says "dad cmon you always do this". The eldritch horror responds "and its always hilarious"
2:
the stick figure and father are having a dialogue
"dad, can i ask a question?"
"only if you are prepared for the forbidden knowledge i wield, child"
the frame zooms in to the stick figure's face
"why am I not an eldritch horror?"
The only part of the dad visible is its tentacled maw, with the child very small in frame, implying a difference in size. the dad responds:
"what? you are a horror."
"being double jointed doesn't count dad."
"yes it does how dare you-"
the rest of the father's dialogue is cut off due to falling out of frame of the panel

the child is talking to the father, who is currently seated in a poorly drawn armchair, somehow now the same size as his child. the child states.
"dad i think im gay"
"i'm happy for you child. just make sure he's blind folded when he visits so his eyes dont bleed"
the father is holding his phone on a facetime call with his child. the child states
"studying abroad is fun, dad!"
"of course just be sure to cast a summoning ritual so i can visit every once in a while child"
the child is standing near an open box, father at the right side of the frame.
"dad thanks for the birthday gift"
"no problem child everyone needs a ancient jeweled ritual dagger handy"
the final panel depicts only the father in a close up.

in other news i think im finally happy with how the shooting looks and feels. no longer am i casting bullets from a gun like a wand. i finally feel like the gun is actually shooting.

when i see a game with this on steam i click the red bar and if its just culture war types complaining that the game is "woke", i instantly buy the game. game devs: this is the new hack. Go Woke, Go so rich actually sell SO many copies.
