I come across his name occasionally but always forget who he is. I just found out that he wrote that in 2022, his guess that his father was a KKK member was proven true. How the hell was this a mere guess? In 1991, his dad publicly supported David Duke in his run for office.

It's also interesting that that photo is supposed to inspire terror. Why? Nobody's doing anything wrong. No laws are being broken. There's no dirt or drug addicts on the street. But of course, it's black faces, & that terrifies lots of a certain kind of person. Even when they're doing nothing wrong.

I remember seeing some similar kind of statistics about Brixton in London. It's often described as a black neighborhood, but I think it's only about 30% black & that's one of the highest %s in the UK. American level de facto racial segregation is really striking. Even though its not required by law.

I just looked at AccuWeather. The spiral shape is so clear and so too is the shape of the eye. While aesthetically pleasing, that's scary news because it means fast and sustained speeds which creates such regular shapes.
