Fungus? Mold? Vandalism with an orange powder? Guesses welcome. North Carolina, Piedmont. The tree died a few years ago and fell in early 2024.

The college class I never expected to reference as much as I do! Who knew that studying the original organized crime world would pay dividends today?

My Victory Garden! The last year has been so tough, but I find joy here. Marigolds, onions, corn,radishes, sun flowers, jalapenos, tomatoes, beans, tomatillos, beans, a hyssop (maybe). The marigolds are likely moving soon.

Here's the vocabulary wheel that lots of men are offered when they start therapy. Just know that a ton of women are "here for it" for men gaining communication skills. (Though keep in mind, it's not every woman, a few of them need a wheel, too.)

This is funny for an unusual reason. Let me explain. The graph is off center in a way that isn't showing the violent drop from the beginning of the day. The information is correct, except the LINE is lying. This is classic "lying with data".
