Congressional Republicans are turning their backs on Americans to pay for tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy.

This budget resolution lays the foundation for Trump to gut Medicaid and strip resources from seniors, veterans, those with disabilities, children, and working families.

As he began speaking on the Senate floor Monday night, Cory Booker said that he intended to disrupt “the normal business of the Senate for as long as I am physically able,” citing his belief that “our nation is in crisis.”

He wasn’t kidding.
