I notice that a lot of people who believe in life after death tend to assume that many things will continue just as they are, and this is only natural. In today's gospel, however, Jesus would seem to indicate, that the reality is going to be much more transformational than we've expected.

My basic problem with this test is in the very first question. My answer would be a simple one: 'Jesus'. I would have thought that was basic Christianity, but apparently not to these guys! Oh well - the rest of it will be a waste of time if they forget 1 Corinthians 3.11!

Gosh, it's hard to take in that Archie Fisher has died. I first heard of him as the author of 'The Witch of the West-mere-lands', which Stan Rogers covered as 'The Witch of the Westmorland'. An amazing Scottish songwriter and performer.
