I’m a father, husband, and teacher who wants to share my random thoughts with the internet. I don’t care if anybody sees these thoughts; I just need a space to let the ideas out.
I say, if the captain wants to wear it, fine. If they don’t, also fine. I support my LGBTQ + peeps, but I’m not forcing my opinion on others. However, don’t be surprised if other groups (that you support out not) want armbands too.

There Will Come Soft Rains is one of my favorite stories to teach my middle schoolers! It has great examples of figurative language and gets them talking.
