For my Doom Slayer cosplay, I had an idea to create a badass mobility device using the Crucible sword.
Instead of a PVC or wood dowel rod core, I use an aluminum hiking stick, layer it with HD foam, and use a pointed rubber stopper at the tip of the blade so I can use the prop as a functional cane?

Now that Geekgirlcon is done for the year, it's time to prepare for next year's cosplay and it's my biggest challenge yet.

I appreciate that. The only articles I can reliably get in other colors are socks, gloves, sunglasses, and the unmentionables (interestingly) so having a different color vest would be nice for a change.
Oh, and I think I have just the emblem you mentioned.
