Yeah my mother did it. And we DID live in the North. Had a garden and canned and pickled vegetables, made jam out of raspberries blueberries etc.

As a Canadian, living in NYC, I wonder if there isn't an agenda at work here, namely to size control of Canada's resources. Stupid Arrogant? Sure. But I wonder if this what they're thinking

Time to step up and make more if our own products I guess....and open uo trade within the provinces. And other countries. All things that should have happened years ago.
