I really enjoy photographing these Sandhill Cranes
Upon arriving in the Badlands, faint pillars of light shimmered to the north. Suddenly, a wave of color surged across the sky. Greens, purples, and reds danced in ethereal harmony. For thirty minutes, this celestial ballet mesmerized us before fading away, leaving us with a quiet, star-filled night.
