Oh this reminded me of the team I want to use if I ever decide to replay Scarlet / Violet.

So hard to pick, but I think it would have to be Crocodile Cacophony from DKC2. I was ecstatic when it showed up in Ultimate and then multiple references in Bananza. No wonder it’s in my “Best of the Best” playlist on Nintendo Music.

This goddamn robot when you save your work in Mario Paint on the SNES. The music made my child brain think that the robot was making some sort of moaning / groaning sound, and being very young when this game came out I didn’t understand its purpose.

Finally finished, 100%, Donkey Kong Bananza tonight. What a journey. I really think this game was something very special, and paid tribute to the series while doing so many amazing new things.

Not doing too badly. Got two of the shiny Wormadam in one puzzle, and shiny Salazzle came at the expensive of forgetting Iron Moth’s existence
