Morning Womble, I have just finished Toll the Hounds, book 8 of the Book of the Fallen. It was a bit long-winded so it only got 4*. Having a break now with some light space opera as a 'palette cleanser' before I dive into the final two books!

Hi Womble, I'm still soldiering on with The Malazan Book of the Fallen. Up to #7 Midnight Tides now. Still gripped by the scope of the story but getting close to the climax now (ish!).

Good morning Womble, still on The Malazan Book of the Fallen. Midnight Tides now (book 5). The mechanics of the storybuilding in each book are much more apparent when you read them back to back like this. I'm still hooked and even more in awe of this series!

I've just started Deadhouse Gates, part of this year's challenge to read all of The Malazan Book of the Fallen. I read them all when they came out, so there were big gaps between books. Now, hopefully, doing it all in one hit. Big challenge!
