It is believable that a family would collude to maintain power.
Their wrestling styles certainly aren't believable, tho.
Very few modern wrestlers have a believable style, so they need to provide something else, like a story or relationship that is believable.

The "art" of professional wrestling has always been believability.
"Do these guys really hate each other?"
"Is he really hurt?"
"I don't think that was supposed to happen."
"He got him for real that time."

One of my all-time favorites. I've been singing his praises for over 20 years.
I'm thankful AEW gave him an opportunity to show a younger generation how good he is.

Also, #86, Blake Whitehart telegraphs which direction he will be pulling for his run block every single time he's on the field.
You can have 10 guys execute perfectly, but one guy telegraphing a run play will result in a blowup play for a loss every time.

This was the best wrestling show on tv at the time.

It wouldn't have if they would have handled the situation differently.
