This is me. I see people saying the label is synonymous with "might be a nazi". People arguing about whether OSR is a type of game, or an "approach" to gaming. So much energy spent on low value arguments. I'm not looking for the culture wars to invade my hobby.

Can you say more about which problem you're referring to with rewards being up front? Seems like you could be referring to multiple things.
