Maybe, maybe not. That's for you to decide. For a man who has been working as long as O'Brien in the media, it would be generous to describe him as naive for not realising she'd be subject to an NDA or similar

O'Brien stated on his show she had lost her job due to ratings & she had remained silent as to why she lost it to make people think it was due to an interview with an Israeli official where she challenged his version of events. Strangely, the interview coincided with her sudden departure

Projected changes of a couple of tenths of a percentile to the fairly abstract concept of growth isn't really a tangible thing for most. An additional 250,000 being pushed into poverty will unfortunately be all too tangible for those impacted by this
