The sadness, anxiety, and dread have been overwhelming. Some days it’s paralyzing. My heart gets broken pretty much daily now, and it’s only going to get worse. 🏳️‍⚧️😔💔

Damn. This is tough to witness. I’m sure he’d understand better if it was one of his own kids. 💔

I’m trying not to let them drive me out of public life but I’m so exhausted and scared. I’ve only had the energy to do the bare minimum, canceled/avoided so many things since the election. 💔

Being transgender just means you don’t identify with the label/gender slapped on at birth. Like a pink crayon being mislabeled with a blue wrapper and being told they’re blue. Some of us struggle with gender dysphoria (discomfort) with that. Hormones & surgeries can help alleviate the discomfort.
