And Harriet came out of retirement to take over. Because of that and her age I can't see her being boss for very long, unfortunately.
I really hope that I'm wrong as I would love to see more of her and Kit in future seasons! 🙏

I somehow have a feeling that Kit and Harriet are just placeholders for this season as they might want to introduce new characters when they move to Birmingham.
Fran mentioned in an interview that her stint on SW had been a pleasure which sounded a bit as if this was just a temporary job.

I liked him too, but he wasn't a particularly "compelling" character. I agree about Gabriel, it's a shame he left. I'd like to know if he left of his own accord or if he had to.
Harriet & Kit are great, although I'm not sure if or how long they'll stay on as the move to Birmingham is imminent.🤷🏼‍♀️

I think both Kit and Harriet are a breath of fresh air for the show. I liked Velvy and Gabriel, but both of them were very low-key and didn't provide a great deal of entertainment. Much more opportunity for that now!

It was such a strong start to the season. Gripping and heartbreaking storyline, fantastic new characters and amazing Jakki moments! 🥰
