Most of the time I only have a vague idea of where these will end up. Usually I just take a knife to wood. And see what happens… A lot of guys carve wax or clay, so they can fix their mistakes…for me, if there’s a mistake, it’s simply a change of direction to the final piece. good, bad, or otherwise
