Excellent article. One thing common of articles is "I had problems when I tried Linux" then read they used some niche distro and/or is a work in progress fork of another Linux distro. This is why going to Linux is so daunting for new users and hopefully SteamOS (Arch ) makes a better entry point.

When you give poor people the choice of watching 1 movie at the theater for 15$ or watching 300 movies in a month for 15$ on a streaming service, it's not hard to math why the industry is failing, it's easy for rich people to advocate for things poor people can't afford

Not that it applies to your game but something that impressed me in general is how @tinylifegame.bsky.social crammed so many commands on the controller by just using a toggle button or two so you basically create dozens of button combinations, they're so intuitive my dumb brain remembers them all

Pick a song that you already know well so that if your brain decides to crap out you don't panic lol I keep thinking of these people that go on shows like XFactor picking new songs they barely know and forgetting the lyrics halfway through lol at least karaoke you have the lyrics with you

I just decided to buy a new computer with black Friday sales after watching prices for the past year with little movement (tariffs from USA where most tech comes from here) a custom built without windows preinstalled, will install Linux myself when I get it, went with 7700 cpu 9060 gpu

I use steam link app to stream my games in my living room Chromecast, very easy to either import gog games to steam or install hero launcher, this might be better due to less lag and direct input for mouse/keyboard but it would depend on the price
