I'm at the garage waiting for my car to be fixed.

Turns out there's a full fledged vintage racing car here. This thing must be 70 years old or something! And it's not on display either, apparently it needs new brakes according to the garage guy.

Old racing car, one of those "bath tub" models with a long body and no wings. It's white with red wheels and on the hood it says "Chevrolet racing team".

Same car but looking into the cockpit where you can see it has a big wooden steering wheel and a bunch of dials on the dashboard. There's some blue tarp covering the seat.

I beat it btw!

Took me about 13 hours, start to finish, never having played this before.

I did focus very much on the main quest mind you, there's a lot of extra stuff to explore here.

Yesterday I spent most of the day playing Road Trip Adventure, a 2002 open world RPG for Playstation 2, in which all the characters are cars and instead of battles there are races.

The flour in the box mixed with eggs and milk creates a dough, which you pour into a special "poffertjes pan".

And then you just let them cook until you have a plate full of little pancakes!

An electric poffertjes pan, about 25 cm in diameter, which has 14 round holes where the dough goes. The whole thing heats up, thus creating 14 tiny little pancakes.

There's a sub plot where admiral Grant Sharp asks you to hold on to some liquor for him. Upon returning it to him later, he generously says we can keep some.

We're playing as a 10 year old boy.

I was pretty grumpy about New Vegas constantly crashing, but now that I've followed one of those guides, it does run pretty well and I can enjoy the game now.
