As a nerd that drives I obviously had to make an (evil) air-freshener OR figure out how to make my car turn invisible. The former was more cost efficient. I get meticulous when it comes to accuracy so I paused the movie in a few places, taking screenshots to drag into Photoshop for measurements. As you do... Logically. Oof that's old (and blurry) but if it's helpful feel free to use it to make your own evil car decor. I figure if Megamind took the time between building various gadgets, giant robots and an army of brain-bots while plotting new ways to kill Metroman, to make a custom air freshener for his car that no one will see because it's invisible, you can too.

When MLP|FiM came out I wanted to see how my OC Embertail would look modernized. Her Cutie Mark was inspired by the 'Twice as Fancy Ponies' that had symbols covering most of their torso. I loved the Pegasus 'Dancing Butterflies' as a kid. She was one of my favorites and a big influence. Embertail was created before Friendship Is Magic. Back when I started getting into eBay. Buying beat-up G1 dolls to refurbish or customize. Mostly 'So Soft Ponies' with badly damaged flocking that could be easily removed. This was drawn as a t-shirt design to wear to a "MLP Collectors Convention"... which turned out to be a small swap meet at some kids house. '__' At least the mom's that drove us there had a good laugh.

He used to look VERY anime influenced but grew out of it. I once made a single comic page featuring him. But that was it. I feel bad. I'd like to give him a proper story some day and alleviate my guilt... Also the first this I drew in Procreate. The gem on his head has a function but I'm keeping it under wraps in case I find the willpower to write a mini comic one day.

I found out they changed her look for the TV show, likely to avoid getting sued by Marvel. I like her but I wish they'd kept the outfit from the concept art.

#Megamind Fanart where I never draw anyone in anything they wore in the movie.
I wanted to see how Megamind would look in his home planet's garb. So I basically dressed him up like his father. Roxanne as Megamind's evil queen. I love this pair way too much. I started this sketch in the dealers dungeon of Dragon*Con with no phone reception, thus no reference. I intentionally left out the belt and changed the collar.
