Found a new-to-me Ukrainian 🇺🇦 designer Olya Kilic. Happy to support her by buying and knitting this lovely pattern called Vihola. I'd appreciate recommendations of other Ukrainian knitwear designers!

Spending less, using more of what I already have. I've used my old HiyaHiya Sharps since the latest ChiaoGoo break down. The HiyaHiyas work just fine so no need to buy new needles just to get "the right brand".

Today's impulse purchase at a thrift store: a winter coat for 9 €. I do have a winter coat already (obviously!) but I've lost >15 kgs since I bought it >5 years ago so it's at least two sizes too big. Wearable, yes, but quite saggy. Still, was it a bit unnecessary to buy a new coat 🤔?

Another ChiaoGoo circular broke. I'm running out of my favourite 1,75 mm / US00 needles, the size I use the most. I do have HiyaHiyas, but the cables aren't that good even if the needles are just fine.

First world problems. Lucky me.

Why on earth do I knit grey when it's so damned grey everywhere, even in my mind. But I found this UFO from last autumn when I ran out of grey leftovers. Now I had some to add another section. Not enough to finish the pair, though.

Slow but steady progress of a ribbed beanie for my son. I'm a monogamous knitter so this is the only WIP I'm working on.

I've been very tired lately. I blame the perimenopause, long term depression and gloomy season. What a combo indeed.

I'm still wondering what to do with IG and this Bluesky. I feel overwhelmed thinking I should keep up with two social media accounts. Maybe, just maybe I could keep IG as my diary of finished knits and share more of my WIP's, thrifting and even random thoughts here.
