It's weird that we can all agree that an 8yo is too young, but for some reason a 15yo is... Fine?? 🤮 My child is almost 15 and very much still a child in the same way an 8yo is still a child.

I assumed (and maybe that's my bad) that the newspaper was suing and thus getting the payout. It is deserved because what they did is horrible, but if they sue the government, that income is generally tax money.

Taxpayers paid this bill. It's a little icky that a corporation gets taxpayer money because a few people in the government went completely off the rails. Idk the answer here, because it IS justice, but this part bothers me.

I lost a lot of respect for him when he cozied up to rightwing bros earlier this year. He's very much a politician, and I trust him as much as I trust Chuck Schumer. 😬 He's doing the right things but I can't trust him.

We thought it was dementia, and my dad had just taken her to the dr office where they prescribed bla vitamin injection... And then she was getting worse so we went to the ED where they did the scan. It's almost never brain cancer... But when it is, it's a doozy.
