Horror lover, film in general, car lover, especially the greatly underrated bl, a dad to an amazing son.
Leathal weapon 4, from what the series was, I mean diplomatic immunity from the great late Joss ackland is one of the great lines in the film, to this turgid cash in on the Kung Fu influences from the late 90's, absolute crap.

The holiday, the good lady her indoors, the mortgage approver loves this film, I've never told her this but I hate it, that's lovely for you

Assault is the really good film on the list and mamma Mia is the one to watch if you just want a really good feel good film. I'd still go John carpenters gritty assault though.

Fear is the key is mine, 1972 based on a Alister McLain novel of the same name, its a brilliant tale of the revenge where the set piece ending is on a submersible vehicle. It's brilliant with a top notch roy budd score and sir Ben Kingsley in his first movie role as a heavy.

Really enjoying the pod, can't wait for the rants on horror of Frankenstein and scars of dracula, they both deserve a rant, still can't believe studio canal are releasing these first on 4k when they have a load of quality hammer to release

Ad72 is the same, it's just a joy ride of a horror

If ever I feel not great, I'll sometimes get this on and the world just feels that bit better

The sweeney, deservedly a regular on the list as it's so bloomin awful. Just watch the old series or even the films instead

Any one of these is a must watch, but dead of night beats them all, 5 tales to chill the bones, perfect for a Halloween night.

Peter cushing said the blood beast terror was his worst film and who are we to argue, but it's not the worst on the list, that's beware of the blob, it's absolutely awful.

That should say don't

It's a great film but I do prefer q2

Why is hotel Transylvania on this list, it's not the best and not the worst but a fine way to spend 90 minutes

Cash on demand, an Xmas heist movie where andre morell, runs rings around Peter Cushing's gloriously uptight manager. It's has a lovely redemptive arc at the end.

In fabric is brilliant, mark will say more people should see it as it's a mindbender of a possessed dress film starring the strangest department store ever, the ending is heartbreaking.

Frankenstein must be destroyed, hammer returns for Cushing's 5th outing and this is the most driven possibly evil performance Cushing ever gave, the story is immaterial, as all the actors especially Freddie Jones are brilliant in this unsurpassed sequel

Has to be firewalker, another cannon misfire
September 29, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Anyone should be on everyone's watch list but let's go for the elephant man, John hurt, incredible, Freddie Francis prowls the underbelly of London with his camera, and the score by John Morris is sublime
September 23, 2025 at 7:24 AM
Hotel Transylvania should not be on this list at all, is the redactor in chief up to his tricks again!
August 11, 2025 at 1:55 PM
Steve martins Roxanne, in my view his best film ever, the update to modern Canada is inspired, the laughs roll thick and fast, but there is real heart at the story, and the music is sublime, all in an absolute treat.
