Clarification: popular in my middle aged circle of moms and work colleagues

I read IQ84 this summer. I’m currently forcing myself through The Women after hearing how great it is. While reading I find myself wondering why this book is so much more popular when Murakami’s writing is 1000x better and the stories are so much more intriguing to read.

My BIL was childhood friends with Bill Lishman’s (who the movie was based on) son. The inlaws still talk about how kooky and yet fantastic Bill was. RIP

We have seen increased Shigella and TB infections in our unhoused neighbours. Is the spread thought to be occurring in the shelters specifically, or outside too? What are the up to date recommendations to help reduce infections?

I prefer the Let’s Make a Deal channel personally. Great costumes and snazzy cars.
