Playing around with oils on paper, I like how smooth the paint application is but the paper really sucks alot of paint up. I thought I had gesso but turns out it was hardened and unusable 💀

Apparently if a Gannet survives the avian flu, there's a chance that its irises will turn black.
I love seeing evolution like this in real time, I wonder if the eye colour will pass down?

Shifting of Sands and Greedbag are my Rainworld OCS. SOS is depressed and Greedbag isn't helping.

There are so many bumblebees and other native pollinators on this (unfortunately non-native) aster!
I plan to put more California Aster this year rather than New England Aster. I’ll see next fall which one attracts more wildlife!
