That film was crafted beautifully on a production and art level but unfortunately as an adaptation was just ok imo…

Yeah, I think it’s a hard task to take on tbh even for someone as accomplished as Del Toro. When it’s out on Netflix I will let you know what I think!!

Man I’m so intrigued by this film given the reactions I’ve seen now. Like on a visuals level I’ve loved what I’ve seen in trailers/from that exhibit but from an interpretation of the story angle I’m getting the impression it’s iffy.
