I am #flush
with what time holds
in its nourishing hands.
My mind creaks

open

and I let in
a soft prayer

to myself.
I accept
my strengths

without diminishing them
and I vow
to work on my flaws
without diminishing me.
I am the road

on which I trod
with gentle
and merciful steps.
