I’m a big fan of TV/film creators calling out people who completely misinterpret the plot and/or characterization

Past Lives: Gutted me. Materialists: Warmed my heart. Both films had great dialogue, beautiful shots, and were rooted in reality. I love the way Celine Song tells stories!

My nail artist had never seen it and I had to describe it to her. I was like, “Yeah a woman lightly poisons an uptight fashion designer to make him vulnerable and kind… but it’s ok, he’s into it.”

Technically both are correct since she changes her name from Galinda to Glinda! But most people are using the latter.
