Our grocery purchases were significantly down also!

We used to have a wfh budget. Now we have nothing.
We used to take new hires out to lunch. Now we have a cafeteria with “free” lunches.
We used to buy laptop stands. Now we have nothing.
We used to have cubicles and Ethernet at every desk. Now we have everyone on WiFi 🫠

So yeah we’re basically continuing to take away all the things that I liked and not replacing them or replacing them with shit.

We have historically taken new hires out to lunch upon their completion of onboarding. I thought it was an appreciative gesture but no, apparently it was supposed to be a way to get feedback on the onboarding process.

It wasn’t even that long lol I think that was a “changed my mind 17 times on what to say how to say it”.
However it was an illuminating response in a depressing way … yay Tuesday.
