It’s hitting the TEFL industry, and work for me, income for host families and local economies. Last year I was teaching in a language school April > October. This year mid June > end August. Everyone else is probably going to Dublin

Brexit broke us from the EU and now we get to “choose”. Starmer talks a talk and walks a different walk. The call to rejoin the EU gets ever louder but Starmer won’t… or can’t… take us there.

Big tech rules the world. We’re all dependent on them. Governments are dependent on them. So they have unparalleled power. That’s why Big American Tech doesn’t like the EU cos it says “pay up”. The UK is on its own, veering more over the Atlantic rather than the Channel.

They are not going to take us back into the EU. They’re mindful of the US. They’re gonna vacillate for as long as possible but really they’re standing with Trump. They may feel they have no choice.

It was us. We destroyed life on mars, stuck some babies in a space ship that landed on earth. Obviously not having any adults to show them how to live, humanity was back to square one. And now here we are again. What goes round and all that…
