I noticed way more alphas during this #SteamNextFest and I'm skeptical if that's a good development. Putting a demo out there during such an early phase of development might increase interest but could also backfire due to lots of features and mechanics not being available yet.

While everyone seems to be raving about Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (I'll play it too), let's not forget that locking quests behind special edition pre-order paywalls is utter bullshit.

City Tales - Medieval Era by @irregular-shapes.com is the first demo I've tried during this Steam Next Fest. There are definitely some interesting ideas here, so it earned its place on my wishlist.
