he is a very interesting guy with a good shot at being a world historical figure.
the main point is that if you are objecting to "political islam" you've totally missed the bus; for better or for worse that's what the region is working and anyone objecting to that is almost certainly posturing.

this is sort of big brain stuff but i do think that a moderate coded jewish president *could* have the juice to do the kind of break with israel that we need in a way that a gentile would be scared of/have a ton of trouble doing
