We urge the co-legislators to focus the Digital Omnibus on fixing these implementation bottlenecks, in particular, fast-tracking national frameworks and enabling CABs to play their full role in ensuring AI in the EU is safe, reliable and compliant. (6/7)

In light of the proposed postponement, TIC Council notes that manufacturers can already lower future compliance costs by demonstrating the #safety and #reliability of their AI systems through voluntary certification, ensuring they are prepared for AI Act obligations. (5/7)

However, in many Member States, the notifying authorities are still not designated, preventing Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) from being notified and, thus, becoming NBs. (4/7)

Our members are already ready to act as Notified Bodies (NBs) and support industry with high-risk AI requirements, and we welcome the provisions that aim to speed up notifications. (3/7)
