Another little milestone for the guitar build. Binding is on and I’m ready to start staining. Just trying to convince myself to go with my original sunburst idea, as this is looking pretty neat as it is. On top at least…

More progress being made with the veneer top. Slightly bigger gap due to the round-over than I was expecting. Will re-assess the plan once it’s been filled. Nice to see it finally looking guitar shaped though.

I have managed to successfully glue the veneer to the body and headstock. This was a scary part as the veneer is fragile (and expensive!), but I think it went ok. Next step is to trim off the excess and rout the binding slot. #guitar #baritone #diy
