Daily TIN (politics) When the craziness of the world (South Korea unrest, Russia hyperbole, Syria revolt, Georgian elections fraud/denial, etc…) starts to cloud your mind please keep focused on the things that A) really matter to you AND B) you can control/have impact. The rest is noise.

Daily Tin(sports/markets edition): Being a fan of the team like the Chicago Bears is a great reminder that when things are looking their worst and you think something has hit rock bottom they can still be useless for a long time. Something to remember when you are holding that stock down 70%.

Daily TIN (Life): Just saw a woman berating a fast food worker who seemingly messed up an order. People these days really don’t care about intentions just results and that’s pretty sad. Results can vary…intentions and actions that reinforce those intentions are how people should be judged. Be Kind.

Daily Tin (markets edition): With NVDA earnings today as always I would caution to not jump on headlines. The devil is always in the details. Markets are a balance of information and expectations (and maybe some manipulation) so it’s ok to wait until you have the best information possible.

Daily Tin (TV edition)-I have noticed that watching shows where it is almost too dark to see anything makes it increasing likely I don’t finish the show. I know it’s for cinematic effect but please don’t give me a headache trying to enjoy my entertainment time because you will lose it.

“.. tough for allocators to call top in US asset price hubris, but US$ (real effective exchange rate) now at 55-year high, US stocks vs world at 75-year high ..” 🇺🇸 [Hartnett]
