Even though she now could, she never did end up using transformation magic to fix her hair. Nor did she prefer teleportation over sailing. (She would teleport if it was of utmost urgency, but convocation meetings? She would make them wait until her ship reached Amaurot’s shores.

Having created this magical aid, word spread to Venat, who was very intrigued in this traveler who had mastered magic in a new way. This started her journey as the new Azem.

Thus, she started charting magic. It took her multiple years but she managed to transcribe runes and spells into a tomb. When channeling the little magic she had through the book, she was able to match just about any Ancients magic capabilities, and sometimes even surpass them.

her very sick. If she even arrived at the aetheryte that is. Knowing that she was putting herself into considerable danger by traveling the world by sail, she chose to research the math that made up the arcane. She had a fair amount of experience with drawing formulas while charting the world.

Though, she did not have much of a choice. Other than most Ancients, she was never good at manipulating aether. She couldn’t manage the simplest of transformations (when she tried to do something as simple as changing her hair color, it got stuck between green and blue) and teleportation would make

And her peers weren’t wrong, sailing in a one-man sail boat had its dangers. Storms could rage across the sea, eldritch sea creatures lurked beneath the surface, or something simple as a wind-still day could ruin one’s day.
