I love that book so much. I listened to the podcast and bought the book for myself and for my friends. The auld lang syne story still makes me sob profusely.

Molecules are heat thieves, and water has lots of molecules that want to steal your precious heat. The air has fewer molecules, so fewer opportunities for them to steal your heat.

Like, there is one youtube channel I follow that has had to start subbing in Algospeak for politicians/historical figures when talking about HISTORY and CURRENT EVENTS because they are getting demonetized. It's getting ridiculous.

I also really like this podcast that uploads to YT. Its about folklore from the Carolinas. Lots of history paired with the stories too.

I don't watch lots of long form stuff, but PBS has a ton channels. Most of their content is 10-20 minutes long. they have playlists you can auto play. Most of the channels have 2-3 sub shows in it. Like Storied has "Monstrum" (folklore) and "Otherwords" (linguistics)
