This research was conducted jointly with PRESTO researcher @tiapalermo.bsky.social & co-authors at @unicef.org Innocenti, under @airinforms.bsky.social P3 Mentoring program.

Risks factors include higher likelihood of living near highways, factories or other industrial plants, increasing exposure of pollution, carcinogens and other health risk factors. In turn, living in redlined neighborhoods is associated with lower survival after breast cancer diagnosis.

This century-old housing/mortgage policy has reinforced segregation & structural disadvantage through today. Poverty affects lifestyle & environmental risk factors.
