Cause bg3 is actually a /really solid dnd5e game/
And, last I checked that rulebook, there weren't any sex rules in that one! xD
(Although I do know of a couple fan works to that effect but that's not the point I'm trying to make here xD)

I don't see a reason to praise the developers for it. I might see a reason to praise them for not being insensitive asshats or bigots about it, I suppose, but that's less "praise" and more "thank god you aren't fucking asshats. Cool."
