My barely-playable DIY TCG would be so much cheaper to make if I was an artist.

Not being able to draw means I'm printing clip art on my cards and the amount of ink I'm using to do so is a little crazy.

I don't know if the effort would be worth it or if there's even a broad enough audience for it, but I'd love to see someone who builds in detail (like @snifferish.bsky.social) do their own take on someone else's megabuild (say...Scarland, for instance), just to see how their take on it would go.

Apparently, someone thinks it's a good tactic to try to sell life insurance by telling me "The sands of time are depleting on your life, but don't panic, there's help!".

I'm 35, creepy email. Your scare tactics just read like threats. It's weird.

The bad thing about a new Life Series starting up the same weekend as a new season of Rats SMP is that I know I'll never keep up as it happens.

The good thing is that I'll have content for MONTHS to enjoy because of this.

I have to start using this site more like Tumblr and like random posts.

I'm so used to staying in my own little bubble to avoid the drama, but there isn't a need for that here.

I don't know what I did to get such a high number of cats on my feed but I need to figure it out, so it keeps happening.

My favorite thing here so far is that, if you want to see more of the stuff you like, all you have to do is TALK ABOUT THE STUFF YOU LIKE more.

"If you want to see more cool stuff, just embrace your passions more" is such a refreshingly healthy way to use social media.

The only thing I currently find myself missing over here is the ability to bookmark posts.
I mostly used it to remember event dates or for archiving stuff I want to check out later and there ARE other ways to do that, but the one-click option was convenient for me.

As someone who was way too comfortable in the dumpster fire and is new here, I tend to just scroll past random posts in disbelief.
I haven't seen a post I even DISAGREE with, let alone being offended.
Turns out we CAN have nice things, I guess. (Until we inevitably ruin it eventually, as humans do.)

It's rare, but sometimes I actually take pictures of things that aren't flowers as well.

I never had much of a reason to post my own photography on the other site, but things seem happy and bright enough here for some pretty flowers.

I'm not sure my random nonsense posts will translate quite as nicely in a place that isn't actively burning to the ground, but it definitely won't stop me from doing them anyway.
