Speaking of journals, 5 years ago when I moved to China, someone gave me Michelle Obama’s Becoming journal and I just found it. I now have 3 journals😂. A daily one to write in, a travel journey to draw pictures in and now Michelle’s😂😂
I’ve been journaling a lot more and omg I can’t stop! I’ve tried for years but the habit never stuck. I think switching to writing in cursive has made all the difference. It’s so fun. Seeing the words flow and look so beautiful. I love that for me🥰

Honestly the lips are what I’m most proud of. It’s always been the hardest part of the face for me. I’m definitely gonna practice my eyes more cus these are not it😂😂
Ok so this is an *attempt*. I couldn’t sketch properly because I lost my eraser lol so there are lots of mistakes but my focus was more on learning how to mix and layer the colors which I think turned out pretty nicely. Still learning

My first try at watercolor. A friend gave me some a loooong time ago and all the tubes were dried up😭I also had no idea how to use them but I think it came out pretty decent for a first attempt! I’m gonna buy some new colors today and hopefully build a wall of watercolor for my living room

One of my students is such a little crybaby omg lol every single class he cries. If the class votes to play popcorn with the stuffed seal and not the rabbit, he cries. If I don’t choose him to answer, he cries. If he gets out in Hot Potato, HE CRIES. He def knows that’s how he gets his way at home

I didn’t really have a reading goal in 2024. I was just reading lol but I also got my kindle this year and just recently got kindle unlimited so I think that’ll boost my numbers but under the circumstances, I’m proud of my 20 books lol
