Finally assembled this Eugy cardboard thylacine model last night.
(spot the cute surprise hidden inside it in the first pic hehe)
Two plush thylacines 'helping' to build a small model made from stacked layers of cardboard. One is holding a glue tube in its mouth and applying it to the next layer. Inside the model is a pouch with a sleeping joey that will be hidden when complete. The finished chibi cardboard thylacine has its jaws opened wide towards the two plushies. They look nervous. The cardboard thylacine faces off against a cardboard Tasmanian devil. Both are cute chibi proportioned, and have wide open toothy mouths. The devil has a cartoony meat drumstick under its paw. The thylacine has the devil's meat chunk in its mouth. The devil, though its expression is unchanged, looks distraught.

WWD finger puppets yay! I assume this is a full set? Never seen the ornitholestes one before.
(I always feel kinda tempted to sew bodies for these... If I had matching fabric...)

Yippee!! Yeehaw!!
Tiny, bright blue Beasts of the Mesozoic velociraptor figure, posed riding a rainbow striped Schleich zebra. It's sitting down, holding onto the mane and looking up towards the camera with its mouth wide. The velociraptor is now balanced standing on the zebra's back, surfboard style, facing the direction of travel.

I may have spent most of my time at #DinoConUK in the vendor hall, but I sure had fun in there!

Two animals I saw today.....
An inch long, bright green bush cricket or katydid sitting on the side of a dried up flower head. The worst, blurriest photo of a fox dashing across a path in a park lit by a streetlight. Or maybe it's a thylacine! In England!

There goes the last thylacine... but uh, this time it's a good thing not a sad thing.
My stall, with only a single thylacine plushie remaining and a box of pins on a thylacine print tablecloth. A card sign points to the final plushie. The stall is now empty of plushies and tablecloth. A tiny card sign says 'there were plushies here once'

Silly little joey.
The foetal-looking plush thylacine joey has been squished into an empty toilet roll tube. Its little sleepy face and tail are peeking out the ends. The joey, held upright, appears to be pondering with one paw held up to its face. It just came out of the tube posed like this. The joey is being firmly grasped and held out of a car window to go fast The joey has been stuffed into an inside handle on a car door, its snout, feet and tail sticking up. It's very snug.

A tube of assorted jelly belly jellybeans, but there's only black beans left. All beans on the label have been coloured in with black sharpie and the '50 flavours' changed to '1 flavour'

Here's a kinda yucky little thylacine joey! Really had fun making it look shiny and meaty. Little raw meat creature. Forbidden jelly baby.

They're designed to fill little gaps when I get fabric printed, so they'll be made alongside future thylacine beanies. Bringing the first few to Dinocon!

It's a bit ugly, but has a sweet smiling face and looks peaceful. The joey being lightly grisped around its middle and pointed towards the viewer, showing shiny paw pads on its stubby little limbs. The gingerbread thyla! Fun fact, that idea was based off some actual gingerbread I made once.

Here's versions labelled with names and brands too, which took way too long lol.
62 thylacine plushies labelled with herb and spice themed names, and using a colour key for their pronouns. A few don't fit the theme, like Cereal, five Jellybeans, and one just called the joey. And The Mitt, not pictured. The same group again, labelled with the plushies' brands or artists. Coloured outlines highlight thylacines of of the same brand. Like 20 were made by me.

The other day I brought my entire thylacine plushie collection out onto the lawn. Many thylacine!!!

There's 62 in this group, though one tiny joey is not visible as she's hidden in a pouch. Not present is an oven mitt, which I choose to count as a 63rd plushie, but I forgot to bring it outside...
61 plush thylacines of many different shapes, sizes, colours and fabrics are arranged in a big group on a lawn. Some are wear collars, beads or bandanas.

Been a wee while, but there's some new and restocked plushies in my shop: new Sharovipteryx and Cotylorhynchus beanies, a few pastel raptor chicks, and some Gorgonops!

Two plush sharovipteryx, lizard shaped reptiles with very long hind legs that they use as wings to glide. One is sprawled flat with leg-wings outstretched to either side, the other sits up with its legs awkwardly folded underneath. They're made from soft printed fabric with a green scaly design. A plush cotylorhynchus being grisped in a hand. It's got a large round body, four big feet with chunky claws, and a very small head with a cheery smile and beady little eyes. It's printed with a soft brown and cream design. Four fluffy velociraptor chicks, two lilac and two sky blue, huddled together with their big beady eyes all looking different directions. A lilac at the front has its stubby wee wings outstretched.

This cotylorhynchus was meant to have a few more details that I made a bit too subtle for the print oops, but still a pleasant little potato! More contrast next time...

Still need to sew the rest of the batch, but cotylo + sharovipteryx shall be in my shop fairly soon.
A plush of cotylorhynchus, an animal resembling a very rotund lizard with a very tiny head. Its face has beady eyes and a benevolent little smile. It has big chunky feet with blunt claws. The fluffy fabric is printed a muted brown fading to a yellow underbelly, and hints of pink especially around the snout. The cotylorhynchus plush from further away. It's sprawled on its belly. The plush lying on its side showing a big pale tummy and shaded detail on the soles of its feet.

Sorry I've been a bit slow in the plushie department lately! Here, have another Leg.
A plush sharovipteryx, a Triassic lizard-like reptile that glides on very long leg wings instead of its arms. The small plush is light green with darker spots and yellow wing membranes, printed onto a fluffy fabric. It's sprawled out on its tummy with leggies outstretched. The sharovipteryx plush on its back showing a pale tummy, and bright red patches with black spots on the underside of its leg wings. Kind of watermelon vibes, actually. The sharovipteryx sitting up with its floppy legs folded under it slightly awkwardly. I also went to look around the back garden for any more missing badger teeth (there's probably some) but instead my bone-finding eyes spotted a half shrew skull in the dirt! Funky red teeth!

Today I was cleaning up this really knackered badger skull I found last year, gluing in what remaining teeth it has. It also got blown about the back garden in a storm and broke some bits including one cheek arch, but luckily I found enough pieces... Tricky to glue back together but I managed!

Many are damaged or missing, especially the tiny incisors. Of its four canines, only one broken half remains on the lower left jaw. The molars look very worn. Doing strange things to some small horses currently
Three G1 My Little Ponies in the process of cleaning. Milky Way stands in a bowl of hot water with a spoon between her legs to fix their warping. Bon Bon is submerged in a dish of foamy fizzing water. Starshine waits off to the side. Bon Bon before being stewed. Her head is lying next to her body, which is rusty and gross inside. A zip tie is replacing the crumbled metal washer that held her tail in. Her tail is rust stained at the bottom and frizzy at the end. Starshine, whose body is beige but should be white, is sealed in a plastic bag of hydrogen peroxide, propped up in a bowl outside.

A group of 5 plushies and 2 figures in different colours, styles and sizes. All are thylacines, and all were originally not thylacines. They sit on a thylacine patterned blanket.
